Luisa Simat

My name is Luisa Simat, I came from Peru many years ago. I'm married and have son and a daughter. When my son was a toddler he attended a center where he spent a full day every day of the week. When he was dropped off and entered the center, two out of the five days he was calm and excited to be with one of the teachers, more apprehensive on the other three days. After talking to the teacher and observing her manner with my son, I saw a teacher whose philosophy of education and goal setting for young children is something that I emulated. Since 2010, I have run a home childcare program dedicated to teaching, nurturing and enabling young children to reach their full potential in a safe loving, educational environment. My program is Spanish -English bilingual, inclusive, and I have children from varied backgrounds. Every child is unique and deserves a good environment to grow, learn in a developmentally appropriate practice. My goal for the children in my care is to have a good foundation for success later in life.
