Erin Moxley

I’ve been working in early childhood education for over 20 years and have been operating my licensed family child care program in Catonsville since 2012. I’m committed to ongoing professional development and have completed numerous trainings through the Maryland State Department of Education. I’m also a founding board member of the Family Child Care Alliance of Maryland, working to elevate and support home-based educators across the state. I chose this field because I truly believe that the early years are the most important for building a strong foundation. Watching children grow, explore, and develop confidence brings me so much joy, and I’m honored to play a role in that process. My philosophy centers around play-based learning, where children are free to explore, take risks, and make meaningful connections. I focus on creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels seen, supported, and excited to learn. My goal is to help children build independence, kindness, curiosity, and the confidence to be themselves. I want each child in my care to feel loved, respected, and ready to take on the world.
