Teresa Ayres

I my name is Teresa Ayres. I have 25 years of dedicated childcare experience and newly earned bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Salisbury University in May 2023. I am deeply committed to nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning. My passion for working with children stems from profound belief that every child is unique and deserves an environment where they feel valued, supported, empowered to thrive. My philosophy of education centers on the idea that early learning should be engaging, inclusive and tailored to the needs of each child. I believe in fostering curiosity, creativity, and independence while providing a safe and nurturing space where children can explore, play, make discoveries and build confidence in their abilities. By emphasizing social-emotional growth alongside academic development, I strive to create a foundation for lifelong learning.
One of my greatest goals is to see every child I come into contact with succeed-not just academically, but as well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the future. I aim to instill a sense of self-expression, and a love for learning that last beyond the early years. I also include promoting positive relationships, supporting individual learning experiences and encouraging a strong partnership between families and educators to ensure each child receives the best possible start in life.
