Jawairia Iqbal

My name is Jawairia Iqbal, and I have over a decade of experience in early childhood education, with a strong foundation in both teaching and program administration. I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a master's degree in Science from the University of Maryland, and I am currently completing an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, with plans to pursue a master's in the field.

My journey into early childhood education began with a deep passion for helping children grow, explore, and discover the world around them. After working as a financial analyst, I realized my heart was truly in working with young children and supporting families through nurturing, high-quality care.

My educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that children learn best through play, hands-on exploration, and meaningful relationships. I strive to create a warm, responsive, and stimulating environment where each child feels valued, confident, and curious. I believe in supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

My goal for the children in my care is to help them become kind, independent, and resilient learners who are excited about the world and confident in their abilities. I aim to foster a lifelong love of learning and to lay a strong foundation for their future success in school and beyond.
