Bio

I have worked in Early Childhood Education for over 20 + years. I have worked in several Childcare centers in the preschool classroom as well as being owner and operator of my Family Childcare Home for 17 years.

I am currently enrolled in Cecil College and over halfway of completing my AA Degree in Early Childhood Education.

I am committed to creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment that fosters respect, fairness, trust, and a lifelong love for learning. My program is designed to support children’s holistic development in a setting that promotes positive interactions, inclusivity, and meaningful learning experiences. I embrace and celebrate the diversity of children and their families, recognizing that families are a child’s first and most influential teachers. My program provides opportunities for children to learn about various cultures, traditions, and celebrations, fostering a sense of community and belonging. For myself teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. One of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my children, as I share my own passion for learning with them. I feel there is a need for compassionate, strong, and dedicated individuals who are excited about working with children. In our competitive society it is important for children to not only receive a solid education, but to work with someone who is aware sensitive to their individual needs. I am such a person who will always strive to be the best educator that I can be.
