Jody Lamberti
Director of Operations
M.Ed Instructional Tech., American Intercontinental University
Jody is a distinguished leader in the early childhood education field and one of the visionary founders of the Alliance. With a background as a former family child care provider, she is deeply committed to elevating the profession of Family Child Care and supporting the broader Early Care and Education (ECE) workforce. Jody holds a Bachelor's degree in English with Secondary Education from Immaculata University and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from the American Intercontinental University.
Jody’s journey to co-founding the Alliance was driven by her extensive experience on the Board of Directors at both local and state levels, where she recognized the need for stronger advocacy and support for family child care providers. She was motivated by a profound desire to empower providers with the resources, mentoring, training, and representation they require to thrive within the ECE system. Together with her co-founders, Jody sought to dismantle the barriers that have historically impeded the progress of the profession.
Under Jody’s leadership, the Alliance is focused on three primary objectives: first, to transform the perception of family child care by promoting providers as professional early childhood educators deserving of respect and recognition; second, to reform the Early Care and Education System by addressing the structural barriers that threaten the sustainability of the field; and third, to create a tailored, "glass slipper" system for family child care, ensuring that the state's education policies are designed to accommodate and support FCC educators.
