Melissa Brown

Melissa brings more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, supporting children, families, educators, and early childhood programs. She began her career working directly with young children and families before moving into leadership and professional development roles, where she has supported educators through coaching, program development, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives. Her experience also includes working as a mental health therapist, providing behavioral intervention and support to children, families, and teachers to help address challenging behaviors and strengthen relationships. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Child and Adolescent Development. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about building strong relationships, empowering educators, and helping early childhood professionals grow their practice and confidence. Melissa is excited to partner with family child care educators and walk alongside them through their individual goals and professional growth. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Eric, and their two children, Mila and Evan. Their family loves spending time by their pool, going to the beach, cheering on the Steelers, staying active, baking, getting together with friends, and making plenty of family memories.
