REBECCA THOMPSON

I have been a childcare provider for over 5 years and have over 12 years teaching experience in elementary education. I have a BA in Communications, over 45 hours graduate coursework in Special Education/Elementary Education. Currently pursuing my AA in Early Childhood Education and trained in CPR and First Aid. I am proud to offer public PreK through the ASPIRE program.

I chose to work in early childhood education because I love making a positive impact on young children.

My philosophy is that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. I strive to create a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and excited to learn. Also, I believe children have a wonderful capacity to learn and are naturally inquisitive. If these natural qualities are guided in a positive educational direction, the child will be prepared for school and life.

My goal is to ensure that high quality learning is accessible to all children while building confidence, developing important social emotional skills, and becoming fully prepared for kindergarten and beyond. I feel so lucky to be part of their early learning journey.
