Ellie has been working alongside families with young children for 10+years. She began her career directing a Farm and Forest Homeschool program at a Jewish educational farm in Putnam Valley, New York.  After a few growing seasons on the farm, she returned to her alma mater, Goucher College, for a Master’s in Education specializing in At-Risk and Diverse learners. She earned this degree while working as a graduate assistant in the Department of Community Based Learning where she directed the Futuro Latino Learning Center's Children's Play program. Ellie comes to the Alliance after working for the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore as their Director of Family Engagement. In her tenure at the JCC, she also worked as the Director of the Meyerhoff Early Learning Center and Director of the Downtown Baltimore Jewish Community Center. She is passionate about power of positive identity development in the early childhood years as well as inspiring life-long learning in educators. When she's not working, she loves to be outside with her family and brunching on The Avenue in Hampden.
